Welcome to the Trigg County Complex & Convention Center Website.
Registration is going on now for all Spring Baseball Leagues. The season will begin April 15, 2008. The Deadline to register is March 1, and no late registration will be allowed beginning this year. This will allow us to have the draft, make a schedule, and get the season started so we can end on the weekend of July 4. Get the Baseball Enrollment form here
The Spring Fix up Day is scheduled for March 15, 2008. We need lots of help to prep the area for the youth sports this summer. Plan to come early, work a little, and have some fun along the way. Food and drinks will be provided.
The July 4th Celebration promises to be the best one yet!!!. Friday, July 4th, will be a busy day. Many of our baseball leagues will wrap up their tournaments that day, and we will be hosting our Tractor Pull, starting around 12pm. On July 5th, J.D. Crowe and the New South will be anchoring our Bluegrass Music Show in the Convention Center. Tickets will be $15 and can be purchased through the Complex website. The Men's Church Softball League was a big success. The league featured 5 teams from Liberty Point, Crossroad, Cadiz Methodist, Linton Methodist, and Cerulean Baptist.
The Complex has received a grant from the Arbor Day Foundation for over 200 trees that will be planted next March at our Spring Fix-Up Day. This grant is valued at approximately $1500.00. These trees will arrive in March and will be planted on the spring fix up day.
The two new peewee and teeball fields are gettting closer to being ready for the 2008 season. Drive by and take a look, especially at the third field---it looks really good (except for the rocks that need to be picked up at the spring fix up day.)
The Complex Board will be meeting on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 6:00. If you have any ideas or issues that need to be addressed, feel free to come. Please contact Kevin Terrell so you can be placed on the agenda for the meeting. You can look at the agenda here
